Terms of Use (EULA)

These Terms of Use govern your use of the MyChorito mobile application and related services. By downloading, installing, or using MyChorito, you agree to these terms.

1. Agreement to Terms

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a binding agreement between you and MyChorito (“we”, “us”, or “our”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

MyChorito is a household management app that helps users organize chores, shopping lists, finances, and related household collaboration features, including optional Premium subscription features.

2. License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MyChorito on Apple devices that you own or control, solely for personal or household use, and in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions / App Store rules that apply to you.

  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the app, except where allowed by law.
  • You may not use the app for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and within households you create or join.

3. Accounts and Households

  • Some features require an account and/or joining a household.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure.
  • Household owners and members are responsible for the content they create and share within the household (chores, lists, expenses, names, and related data).
  • We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

4. Subscriptions and Premium Features

MyChorito may offer optional auto-renewable Premium subscriptions that unlock additional features. Subscriptions are sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system.

  • Available plans: Premium Monthly and Premium Yearly (or equivalent titles shown in the App Store / paywall).
  • Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Pricing: Prices are displayed in the app and App Store at the time of purchase and may vary by region, taxes, and currency.
  • Free features: Basic app functionality may remain available without a subscription; Premium features require an active subscription.

5. Auto-Renewal

Premium subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

  • Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • The renewal cost equals the then-current subscription price shown by Apple for your selected plan.
  • If a price changes, Apple’s applicable notice and consent rules apply before you are charged the new price.

6. Managing and Canceling Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription.

  • On iPhone/iPad: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → MyChorito → Cancel Subscription.
  • You may also use the subscription management options provided in the MyChorito app Settings (which open Apple’s subscription management).
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period; you retain Premium access until that period ends.
  • Refunds, where available, are handled by Apple according to Apple’s refund policies.

7. Restoring Purchases

If you reinstall the app or use a new device signed in with the same Apple ID, you can restore previous Premium purchases using the Restore Purchases option in the app.

8. Acceptable Use

When using MyChorito, you agree not to:

  • Upload or share illegal, offensive, or infringing content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts, households, or our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the app, servers, or networks connected to the service
  • Misuse invitations, sharing, or household features to harass others

9. Intellectual Property

MyChorito, including its name, logos, design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

MyChorito is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyChorito and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Privacy

Your use of MyChorito is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how it is used.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires additional consent.
